TODAY IS THE DAY to Host 2nd Annual Benefit Gala and Live Art Auction at the Jane Hotel Ballroom November 24, 2013
WHO: TODAY IS THE DAY, a visionary non-profit arts foundation based in Hiroshima, New York, and Singapore will host its 2nd Annual Benefit Gala and Live Art Auction. The evening’s proceeds will go to support the fledgling non-profit TODAY IS THE DAY Foundation, and support the foundation’s Yangdaora Art Therapy Project for the children of Fukushima, Japan. WHAT: The evening will be hosted Noritoshi Hirakawa, contemporary artist and foundation founder with a special introduction by Dr. Eric Braverman, medical expert and host of TOTAL HEALTH, followed by the live art auction conducted by Brittney Ingarra of Swann Auction Galleries. The evening will include special performances by singer and actress Alyssa Diaz, Japanese Tea Ceremony by Keiko Kitazawa, dance performance by Megumi Eda, koto by Masayo Ishigure and violin by Naomi Kim. In attendance will be celebrities and art world luminaries including: Adam Driver (Girls), Alyssa Diaz (Vampire Diaries), Rohan Marley, Ben Buchanan, Dr. Eric Braverman, Andres Serrano, Red Grooms, Les Levine, and Jeffrey Deitch.
