A study by Richard Anderson, Ph.D., Beldsville Human Nutrition Research Center, published in Food and Nutrition Briefs, April/June 1993, states that certain foods actually help insulin control blood sugar two to four times better than normal. This could be cinnamon, dandelion, sweet bay, birch, cops, lavender, and beer berry. There is scientific data backing some of the uses of herbal plant therapeutics.
