Exercise:

Exercise may be the number one predictor of longevity. A multitude of dining sins—including making poor food choices—can be rectified by exercise. Exercise, when used as part of a therapeutic plan can be integrated into various medical treatments.

Most people begin losing muscle mass between the ages of 30 and 40, and this loss will greatly contribute to intellectual decline, resulting in memory loss, attention disorders, and potentially negative cognitive functions. With hormone treatments and medical reversal of diseases, exercise can be the icing on the cake—as well as a substantial portion of that cake, if used properly.

We will teach you the right intervals and procedures, and how to handle time management issues. You will learn prayer and meditation exercises to help relax an unsettled mind. And if you suffer from joint-related problems (achy joints, issues with knees, etc.), we will teach you how to use equipment, such as an elliptical trainer or a treadmill with an incline, that will be less taxing on your joints.

Brain/mind/body fitness is a tool you will spend a lifetime mastering. There is virtually no illness that does not benefit in some way from some form of exercise. Moderate exercise, such as a brisk 30 minute walk can increase blood flow to the brain. Adults who exercise at least three times a week, keeping brain cells strong and efficient and keeping the body young, reduce their risk of developing dementia later in life by as much as 40%.
