Night Shred by Inno Supps is a night-time fat burner, perfect for enabling greater weight loss in general and improving sleep quality and relaxation in the evening.

Sleep is essential for your mental and physical wellbeing in general – it will give you time to recharge and recover from the stress and trauma you experience every single day. Getting good quality sleep is one of the best, most profound things you can do for your health and wellness. It is also one of the best things you can do for your physical fitness – it is during sleep that we physically adapt to training stimuli, getting stronger, fitter, processing new skills, and so on.
It is also where we burn the most fat. Better sleep will lead to improved fat loss in addition, making night-time fat burners all the more potent.
If you struggle to sleep and are looking to lose body fat, a night-time fat burner like Night Shred might be the perfect thing for you. Let’s find out just how effective it is in my full Night Shred review.
About Night Shred
Night Shred does what its name promises – it works at night to help you get shredded. Note: ‘shredded’ is simply gym bro speak for losing weight, maintaining muscle, and keeping to a generally lean yet athletic physique. It’s what many of us are going for, and supplements like Night Shred can be a real help.
Night Shred is a completely natural formula that should improve your quality of sleep whilst raising your thermogenic potential – the rate at which you burn through excess fat, freeing it up to use as energy.
Do note, it won’t simply burn fat all by itself. No fat burner or weight loss pill will. If anything promises to, it’s either really unhealthy, lying to you, or perhaps both!
You will only be able to lose weight with a calorie deficit. This means eating fewer calories (read less food) than your body needs to maintain its current weight. Roughly speaking, you will need a deficit of five hundred calories per day to lose 1 lb per week.

You can find this deficit through a combination of eating less and doing more, using exercise to burn through excess calories.
With this deficit in place, a good quality fat burner will come into play. It will put your body into an ideal state for weight loss, keeping your metabolic rate in peak condition, giving you extra energy (often much needed during a calorie deficit), keeping you feeling fuller for longer, improving your digestive health (again, often very welcome during a calorie deficit), and clearing your head of the kind of brain fog that can come whilst living an active life on a low calorie diet.
This is what Night Shred promises to do.
Benefits Of Night Shred
As above, Night Shred’s formula is entirely natural. This means that every ingredient included in it is entirely natural. It’s common to see this in this kind of fat burner but is nonetheless welcome. Too many fitness and diet supplements rely on harsh chemicals and legally gray compounds already – so this is a breath of fresh air to see an all natural profile in Night Shred.
There are a few minor side effects noted with Night Shred, which I’ll mention in more detail below. However, they are mild and short lived, thanks in large part to the natural quality of the constituent ingredients.
The main benefit to be gained from Night Shred is in sleep quality. It has been shown to help you drop off quicker, enjoy a more restful quality of sleep, and wake up feeling rejuvenated in the morning. This alone will help you lead a more active life and lose weight, as you will have the energy and willpower needed to pursue your goals.
It will also help your body to burn through more calories – as above, most physical adaptation and fat burning occurs during sleep, with good sleep being strongly correlated with low levels of body fat.
However, Night Shred also claims to bring about a thermogenic boost. It is meant to burn more fat due to its formula, keeping your metabolic rate in an optimum condition. This sounds a little iffy. The formula contains few of the common ingredients you would expect to see in a thermogenic fat burner or weight loss aid – no glucomannan, no green tea or green coffee extract, no cayenne pepper.
You also won’t get a clear idea of how much of each ingredient they do use is included in each dose. I certainly couldn’t. This is because they use a proprietary blend, which is a definite negative. It means that you will be able to see all the ingredients they use, but not the quantities and dosing.
This is very important. You won’t know how effective each dose is, as it could include some ingredients at doses far too small to have any tangible benefit.
Neither of these criticisms need to be too damning, however. The exclusion of thermogenic boosters is fair enough. Many are stimulants better suited to daytime use. Taking them at night could affect your sleep patterns. User testimonials and my own experience suggests that the formula is potent, so whatever doses they use clearly work.
Realistically, improving your sleep will lead to improved health in general. It will help you to maintain optimum conditions for weight loss, even if Night Shred doesn’t directly target body fat itself. It is still a very usable, good quality supplement.
Night Shred Ingredients
Ingredients make the supplement. Night Shred includes some fantastic ingredients for helping with sleep and relaxation. This includes chamomile, GABA, valerian and passionflower. In addition, it boasts a few ingredients known for aiding in weight loss, including CLA, l-carnitine, and grains of paradise. Finally, it uses l-tryptophan and 5-HTP to boost your mood.

As above, everything is used in a proprietary blend. This means we don’t know the dosing too well. However, many proprietary blends hide their ingredients entirely – this isn’t the case here, and we can see good quality through and through with this list.
Starting with the sleep aid, chamomile, passionflower, and valerian are solid inclusions. Chamomile tea is often used for relaxation, helping people to unwind and de-stress. Meanwhile, passionflower is a traditional cure for insomnia and anxiety – though there is little scientific evidence for its efficacy, its use goes back to the Aztecs, so there is plenty of user testimony backing it up!
Valerian is also commonly included in sleep supplements. There is a promising, growing body of research showing that it can help to relax the nervous system.
GABA is a bit more controversial. It is a neurochemical that can reduce anxiety levels. Optimum GABA levels within the body can help to promote restful sleep. However, their efficacy as a supplement is at question. Its bioavailability is thought by some to be quite poor, as GABA supplements are supposedly too large to cross the blood-brain barrier. Nutrients such as l-theanine are thought to be better for boosting GABA levels.
Grains of paradise is Night Shred complex’s heaviest hitter. A spice from the ginger family, there is a fair amount of evidence suggesting it may help with burning fat. However, research so far is minimal. It’s also possible that Night Shred is slightly under-dosed, here. Studies have typically used 30 mg per day for their participants. Night Shred’s fat-burning blend is 76 mg altogether, so it’s likely it includes far less than this 30 mg sweet spot.
L-carnitine is a good inclusion, too. An essential nutrient that your body produces largely from animal products, it is vital in energy production. Including it in a supplement can therefore lead to heightened energy levels, especially in those who follow a meat-free diet, as they are likely under-producing it in general.
L-carnitine works by helping move fatty acids into your cells to be used as energy. Using it could mean greater accessibility for your fat stores – you may be able to burn more fat as energy.
However, studies are mixed, showing different results. You also need 500–2,000 mg per day of l-carnitine for it to be effective. Once again, there will be an insufficient supply in a 76mg blend.
The same issue occurs with CLA, a group of omega-6 fatty acids found in milk, meat, and vegetable oils. CLA can cause modest fat loss, especially during an initial 6-month period. However, you need around 3 grams per day for weight loss, which is far less than Night Shred includes.
Then we have the mood-enhancing complex, which is pretty solid. 5-HTP is a precursor for serotonin, the so called ‘happy’ hormone. Including it may lift your mood. Serotonin is also converted into melatonin, which can help you to sleep. 5-HTP can also have an appetite suppressing effect, making it useful in a weight loss product.
Then we have l-tryptophan, an essential amino acid. It is key to serotonin production, so should work well in concert with 5-HTP to increase happiness and sleep quality.
Night Shred also provides a healthy helping of melatonin itself, supplementation of which should lead to improved quality of sleep and should help you to nod off quicker. This is perhaps the best part of Night Shred – this alone will leave you more energetic, calmer, and with a higher fat burning potentital.
If you’re on certain medications, like antidepressants, that are designed to elevate serotonin levels, you should consult your doctor before taking Night Shred. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
How To Use And Take Night Shred
Night Shred is one of the easiest and simplest supplements around for daily use. Ino Supps recommend that you take two capsules of it per night, with or without food, half an hour before going to bed.
Using Night Shred
Night Shred’s all-natural ingredient profile is fantastic – or, specifically, the fact that it is all-natural is. It means that the side effects are few, mild, and rare. There are no stimulants included, which are the main cause of side effects in most fat burners, so most people will be perfectly safe taking it.
This being said, there are some ingredients to watch out for for certain people, as mentioned above.

Basically, the ingredients that can boost serotonin and/or melatonin may not be appropriate for everybody. Ingredients such as 5-HTP, whilst wonderful for most people, can cause complications for anybody taking anti-depressants or certain pain medications. These types of medication also increase serotonin levels. Compounding this with Night Shred can be dangerous.
Melatonin itself, contained in Night Shred, can be inappropriate for anybody on blood pressure or blood thinner medications. It can interact with them.
Also, as we don’t know the doses involved in Night Shred, we cannot know specifically how much of any single compound is included. You won’t know exactly how much of each ingredient is going into your body.
Always consult your doctor before taking a new supplement if you are suffering with any pre-existing medical condition or are taking prescription drugs.
This being said, my experiences with Night Shred were very positive. I made sure to use it during a cutting phase in my dietary and athletic cycle. As such, I trained with weight loss in mind and maintained a daily calorie deficit of around 600 (I usually need to cut a bit deeper than most to achieve results).
Firstly, I can struggle to stay asleep at times. I’m often up and down in the night. This went away after a few days on Night Shred. I was sleeping through to the alarm clock. Then, where I would usually be groggy and grumpy on waking, I was springing out of bed feeling fresh and alert. That alone was worth the price.
I managed a decent weight loss. I burned through six pounds over eight weeks, which is pretty standard for me. However, I had far more energy than normal for a cut whilst taking Night Shred. This was partly due to the improved sleep, undoubtedly. However, the brain fog and lack of athletic power I usually experience was far less pronounced and far easier to deal with.
It may not have made that much difference to my weight loss per se. However, Night Shred certainly made my cut far easier and more effective that it usually is. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay alert through a calorie deficit.

FAQs
What time should I take fat burners?
All products will vary, so follow the instructions on the packaging. Night time fat burners are obviously to be used at night, so should be taken before bed. Ino Supps recommend that you take Night Shred with or without food, half an hour before going to bed.
What is the difference between night shred black and night shred?
Night Shred is the more basic form, though it is still very potent. Night Shred Black Edition is an advanced, more complex version. This is reflected in the price – it is a little bit more expensive than basic Night Shred. Both should achieve similar results.
Does Night Shred have stimulants?
Most fat burners contain stimulants, including common ingredients like caffeine and guarana. However, Night Shred doesn’t, making it perfect for night-time use as intended.
Are Inno Supps FDA approved?
Yes and no. None of their supplements fall under FDA jurisdiction, as is true of all dietary supplements. The FDA only deals with food and drugs. However, all Inno Supps facilities are FDA and GMP (good manufacturing practices) approved and certified.
What boosts metabolism the most?
There are several ways to boost your metabolism.
By far the most effective is to take part in an active lifestyle, preferably with some form of muscle building resistance training (like weight lifting, yoga, Pilates, swimming, that kind of thing). The more muscle mass you have, the more your metabolism will be naturally heightened. In addition, if you can get your heart rate into the 85%+ ‘Orange Zone’ for extended periods – twenty minutes or so at a time – you can boost your metabolism for 12-24 hours afterwards.
Dietary supplements and high protein intakes also help. Fat burners like Night Shred will put you in an optimal position for fat burning by keeping your metabolic rate healthy as you cut calories.
Are fat burners worth it?
Fat burners are definitely worth it. There is plenty of conflicting evidence as to their efficacy at actually burning through fat, though plenty of user testimony suggests they do indeed work well. However, this misses the point. They are better used in making a calorie deficit easier and more effective – they should decrease hunger pangs, keep your energy levels high, aid in sleep quality, and keep your metabolism at 100%.
Verdict
Night Shred isn’t the most profoundly powerful fat burner on the market. However, the more potent ones are generally completely inappropriate for evening or night-time use – they contain too many stimulants, give you too much energy, and boost your metabolism too much.
Night Shred is perfect for keeping you in the game, improving your energy levels, giving you more time in a better quality of sleep, and keeping your metabolism functioning as it should even as you go into a calorie deficit. This is its use – it is what it is for, and it does so admirably.
You will find your weight loss diet far easier to maintain and far more effective for taking Night Shred. You will also have the energy you need to live a full, active lifestyle, no matter how large a calorie deficit you stick to.
