Low or skewed testosterone can be pretty ruinous for anybody’s health. It’s much more the case for men, however; low testosterone can lead to a drop in overall physical and mental wellbeing, including low energy, low mood, weakness, fatigue, poor body composition, and sexual dysfunction.

There is a lot you can do to naturally raise your testosterone levels, however. Heavy weightlifting or any other form of intense resistance training will help, as will plenty of rest and a lack of stress. A clean diet will be needed, too: lots of good quality fats and protein, plenty of vegetables and a fair amount of fruit, and minimal amounts of alcohol will all give you a boost.

Supplementation can also be key. Certain natural supplements can raise your natural testosterone production by around 30-40%, which is a big, big deal. They aren’t exogenous sources of testosterone. Rather, they are full of natural ingredients that will inspire your body to optimize output through a variety of mechanisms. Today we are going to be looking at one such supplement and assess its efficacy in this TestoFuel review.

TestoFuel is one of the better natural testosterone boosters out there. It is incredibly well-researched, with every ingredient included and claim made backed up by rigorous study and literature analysis.

It is designed, as are all such supplements, to naturally increase your testosterone production. This will make it easier for you to decrease body fat levels and gain lean muscle mass. It will make you stronger, more focused, more energetic, calmer, more positive, with improved overall health and sexual function.

About TestoFuel

TestoFuel is a completely natural testosterone boosting supplement. The ingredients included in its formula are all completely safe whilst being very effective, all chosen and blended to give you the strongest boost possible, as efficiently and speedily as possible.

As above, it isn’t an exogenous source of testosterone. This means that it doesn’t contain any testosterone. Only people with medically low testosterone levels should take exogenous testosterone, and then only on prescription and under the guidance of a registered endocrinologist.

Non-natural or enhanced bodybuilders often use exogenous testosterone, injecting themselves with it in order to lose body fat and gain far more muscle than would otherwise be possible. There are a great many side effects related to this kind of abuse, however, many of which are life threatening and as such this sort of use should be avoided.

Rather, the ingredients included in TestoFuel are all included for their ability to optimize the body’s own natural testosterone output. This frees you from the nasty side effects of actually taking testosterone whilst giving you all the benefits of heightened natural creation of the hormone.

TestoFuel is designed to naturally increase your testosterone production through a carefully selected range of ingredients. The aim is to make it easier for you to decrease body fat levels and gain lean muscle mass. If successful in its goals, it will make you stronger, more focused, more energetic, calmer, more positive, with improved overall health and sexual function.

The formula is incredibly up-to-date, relying on the most cutting edge research available. They are constantly updating their formula and sourcing the best ingredients, never resting on their laurels. Every serving is also optimized, giving you large doses of everything so that each ingredients can do its best to support you.

We can see this easily by simply reading their labels. This is more of a luxury than you might imagine. Too often, supplements hide behind ‘proprietary blends’ – they tell you in vague terms what they include, but don’t go into detail on amounts. You therefore never quite know what you’re getting with a proprietary blend, and you can never be sure of efficacy.

In forgoing the idea of a proprietary blend and keeping everything open and transparent, TestoFuel shows us the potency and effectiveness of their formula.

TestoFuel Ingredients

All supplements rise or fall based on their ingredient profiles – the contents, the blend, the amounts used. Happily, TestoFuel uses top tier ingredients – and this wouldn’t be much of a TestoFuel review without discussing them – so, let’s take a look at some of them…

To begin with, they use D-aspartic acid (D-AA). This is one of the most important supplements going for regulating testosterone synthesis, promoting the production of growth hormone, and thus for improving muscle growth and overall mass. It helps the brain to regulate hormone levels and release, particularly the luteinizing hormone, a testosterone precursor.

nutrition values for testofuel

In fact, D-AA has been shown to raise testosterone levels by up to 60%, with sperm count almost doubling, after just three months of use.

Vitamin D is crucial in supporting male hormone output. It is made naturally within your body whenever you are exposed to UV light.

However, plenty of us don’t get enough sunlight to make adequate levels, so we are better off supplementing with it (I live in Scotland, so supplementation is crucial!)

Vitamin D can drastically improve testosterone levels. It has been linked to an improvement in strength and muscle mass, all completely without side effects. Supplementing with vitamin D can also reduce post-exercise fatigue and DOMS (delayed onset of muscle soreness) whilst improving your endurance.

There are few testosterone stimulators as effective as vitamin D.

This is backed up by another testosterone superhero – menaquinone, or vitamin K.

We get vitamin K mostly from egg yolks and red meat. These are good sources, but are also often quite high in fat and hard (and often expensive!) to eat in adequate quantities. Therefore, it is a very good idea to include a good dose of vitamin K in your supplement regime.

Studies have shown a strong relationship between vitamins K and D, with the former complimenting the function of the latter, whilst also improving testosterone levels in its own right. In fact, research has shown that supplementing with vitamin K2 for just five weeks can boost circulating testosterone levels by up to 70%.

Then there is oyster extract. I’m not overly enamored with this inclusion. There are enough vegetarians and vegans in the world to make this an odd choice – why alienate a large portion of the market? However, there are also plenty of vegetarian and vegan friendly testosterone supplements, so I suppose plant-based eaters aren’t too starved of choice – if this is a deal breaker for you then why not check out our TestoPrime review (which is completely vegan friendly).

TestoFuel use oyster extract due to its zinc contents.

TestoFuel single bottle

It has always been known as an aphrodisiac, which seem to offset some of the symptoms of having lower testosterone levels. In fact, it contains about ten times the amount you would find in most red meats. This is important, as zinc is vital in maintaining healthy prostate tissue.

Plenty of research validates the inclusion of oyster extract in TestoFuel. It has been shown to improve reproductive and sexual function, boost testosterone levels, and inhibit the conversion of testosterone into estrogen. Zinc can boost luteinizing hormone levels, whilst low levels have been linked to low testosterone levels and inefficient androgen receptors.

It’s just a shame they couldn’t find a different source of zinc – there are plenty of plant-based options. TestoFuel also use beef gelatin in their capsules, so they seem to have gone all-out to neglect veggies!

Zinc isn’t the only important mineral in maintaining healthy, optimized testosterone levels. Boron and magnesium are also key. And, of course, TestoFuel wasn’t developed by fools – it contains plenty of both.

We generally get most of our dietary boron from green, leafy vegetables. It is important to overall health, playing an important role in many systems and processes within our bodies. This includes testosterone production. In fact, 8 mg of boron daily has been shown to increase levels of free testosterone by about a quarter.

It is no accident that each serving of TestoFuel contains exactly 8 mg of it.

Then there is magnesium. An essential mineral, it acts as a co-factor in the human body. All this means is that it plays a regulatory role across hundreds of your body’s enzymatic reactions. This includes many that help to regulate heart, brain, and bone function and health.

It has been linked to improved strength, endurance, and recovery from hard physical training, as well as improved sleep quality. In large part, it achieves all of this by helping to optimize testosterone output.

However, most of us don’t get enough magnesium in our diets. Supplementing, therefore, is often vital to maintaining overall health and physical wellbeing.

Finally, we come to a potent trio of herbs – ginseng, fenugreek, and maca.

Ginseng is an Asian herb that has been used for at least hundreds of years, if not thousands, to heighten mood and cognition whilst simultaneously boosting immune function. It is a known aphrodisiac and libido enhancer.

Optimized testosterone levels lie behind a lot of these benefits. Modern research is catching up with ancient lore, here, to show that it can increase both testosterone and DHT, its potent derivative. It has also been shown to increase release of luteinizing hormone, which we have already seen, and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), which also stimulates testosterone output.

Meanwhile, fenugreek, a Mediterranean herb, is a potent source of zinc, magnesium and selenium (as well as being a tasty, sweet addition to many cuisines.) It also reduces the amount of sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) that your body produces. SHBG binds testosterone, inhibiting it from doing what you need it to do.

Studies have therefore linked fenugreek to higher levels of both total and free testosterone levels.

Lastly, we have one of the best testosterone boosting ingredients going – maca.

At first glance, it is a pretty humble herb. Originating in South America, Inca warriors considered it essential, borderline sacred, due to the strength and stamina it gave them.

Nowadays, we know it as one of the best pre- and post-workout compounds going. It will boost your endurance and overall work capacity as well as making you stronger. After the gym, it can improve your sleep quality, giving you plenty of recovery time in which to make the most of all of that hard work.

This will improve testosterone levels in and of itself – better sleep will always do this. However, maca is also a great natural libido raiser, which is always nice.

How to Use & Take TestoFuel

You should always follow the directions on the bottle when using any supplements. In TestoFuel’s case, this makes things a little involved – overly so for my comfort. You are meant to take four capsules daily.

However, they recommend taking them at intervals throughout the day.

Take one with breakfast, another with a morning snack, then one each with lunch and dinner.

It’s a bit much. You have to take it with food, meaning that you will need to eat constantly, whether or not you want to. You also always have to have your TestoFuel to hand, which isn’t the most convenient thing in the world. I prefer supplements that release their ingredients slowly, allowing you to take it once or, at most, twice daily.

However, if you’re comparing the inconvenience of keeping a constant supply of capsules going with the advantages of maintaining optimal testosterone levels, it’s a small enough price to pay.

TestoFuel is most relevant for men looking to boost their testosterone levels free from any side effects, staying healthy and well throughout. It won’t be adequate to reverse medically low testosterone levels, so always consult your doctors and have regular blood tests. If your levels are medically low, you will need the exogenous testosterone as hormone replacement therapy that I mentioned above.

There are no side effects associated with TestoFuel or any of the ingredients it contains. As above, it is completely natural with no nasty surprises.

Using TestoFuel

As we have seen, there are a great many benefits to optimizing testosterone levels. There are a great many health and wellness concerns associated with low output. TestoFuel will balance everything in your favor – you will likely see your testosterone output boosted a fair amount, which in turn will deliver all the benefits you would expect.

Using TestoFuel, for example, should improve your sexual function. You will likely see an increase to your libido, alongside harder, longer lasting erections. Sperm production will be as healthy as possible, making TestoFuel great for anybody looking to start a family.

Then there are the other physical benefits, concerning both your health and fitness.

The testosterone boost that TestoFuel is designed to provide will give you stronger, healthier bones, keeping you safe from injury and the risks of osteoporosis as you age. Likewise, it will lead to stronger muscles and greater hypertrophy (muscle building). Testosterone is vital for muscular strength and protein synthesis, so is perfect for anybody looking to optimize their lean mass and power output.

You will find it easier to maintain healthy body composition when your testosterone levels are optimized. As above, it is easier to build and maintain lean muscle mass. It is also easier to shed unwanted, excess body fat (which is incredibly hard, nigh on impossible, with low testosterone levels). All in all, this means that you will be less likely to suffer with obesity, and far more likely to be able to keep up a lean, muscular, aesthetic and healthy physique.

There are some profound mental health benefits to be gained from optimizing testosterone output with TestoFuel, too. High testosterone levels have been linked to improved mood, focus, energy, and cognitive ability. Low levels are associated with lethargy and fatigue, brain fog, and a low mood.

As I’ve already said, you shouldn’t experience any major side effects from taking TestoFuel. All the ingredients are natural, safe, and very well-tested. However, you should be careful to stick to the recommended dosage (four capsules per day and no more). Too much zinc or vitamin D can be troublesome.

High testosterone can also sometimes bring about oily skin and acne, increased body hair, and an increase in aggression. These should be minor at worst with a natural supplement like TestoFuel (they are generally severe with exogenous testosterone abuse), but do look out for them as you seek to optimize your testosterone output.

If in doubt, or if you are on any medication or suffering with any pre-existing medical condition, always seek your doctor’s advice before starting a new supplement regime.

FAQs

Is TestoFuel any good?

TestoFuel is one of the best testosterone boosters on the market. It has been shown to improve testosterone output. With it, it will improve your mood, sexual health, self-confidence, athletic ability, mood, and body composition. Customers generally seem very happy with the product and level of service they receive.

How quickly does TestoFuel work?

TestoFuel should begin to work after around a fortnight. It can be faster and more profound for some. However, the best results come with longer term use. You should use it for at least three to four months.

Does TestoFuel have side effects?

TestoFuel itself has no known side effects. If you take it as directed, you will be receiving healthy doses of all of the ingredients. Everything is safe, natural, and open. There are a few side effects associated with high testosterone, however, including acne, oily skin, excess body hair growth, and sometimes aggression.

Does TestoFuel build muscle?

TestoFuel itself doesn’t build muscle. No supplement does. Hypertrophy comes from regular, adequate resistance training combined with a healthy, high protein diet. However, TestoFuel can help this process profoundly. It should lead to improved strength and endurance, optimized protein synthesis, faster recovery, and better body composition. This all means that you will be able to build muscle and lose unwanted body fat far more easily and efficiently.

Is TestoFuel legal?

TestoFuel is completely legal in all jurisdictions and competitions. All the ingredients are safe, natural and legal. You can buy it from their website. It will help you to optimize testosterone levels, mimicking to a lesser degree the effects of anabolic steroids, without any negative legal or health implications.

Is TestoFuel Vegan?

No, the TestoFuel formula includes oyster extract. The capsules themselves are made using beef gelatin. It is unfortunately unsuitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Verdict

TestoFuel is a good quality T-booster that has a perfect mix of natural ingredients designed to help the body in producing greater levels of testosterone. Unfortunately it is not suitable for those on plant based diets, but for those who follow meat based diets there is plenty to like about this supplement.

It’s certainly up there with the best and the doses of each ingredient seem to marry perfectly with the clinical research in to said ingredients.

There are a couple of downsides to TestoFuel. It exists in a crowded, vibrant market, as there are plenty of high quality testosterone boosters out there, many of which have no downsides at all. Therefore, a couple of flies in the ointment are arguably a couple too many.

It should be plant based. There is no reason for it not to be. Gelatin needn’t be meat-based in this day and age. There are other sources of zinc, so oyster extract seems an odd choice to me. These both alienate a sizeable and growing population.

TestoFuel should also be designed to release its nutrients slowly throughout the day. You shouldn’t have to be constantly thinking about supplementation. You shouldn’t have to take them over four separate servings. Plenty of competitors need single daily doses.

However, few competitors have such a rich, well thought out formula as TestoFuel boasts. It is incredible. The research that backs up all of their claims is superb – I can think of few supplements that can match it in this regard. The ingredients are formidable, too, and incredibly well dosed.

I never like to talk in certainties. You can never say, for sure, that any given supplement will bring out all of the desired results in every single person. I’ll not make that claim now. However, I’m as tempted as I’ll ever get to do so – I am far surer of TestoFuel’s formula than I am about most other supplements.

TestoFuel really is good. If beef gelatin and oyster extract fit into your diet, and if you don’t mind taking four capsules a day, you should seriously consider investing in it. Overall, this is a very potent supplement for increasing natural levels of T and should provide good results for most people.
